FAQ
BIWASE’s strategy from 2025 to 2030 focuses on strengthening its leading position in Vietnam and expanding both domestic and international markets. Key strategies include brand positioning and digital transformation, aimed at maximizing shareholder value, enhancing customer experience, and fostering long-term partnerships.
BIWASE’s operating model exemplifies the circular economy by maximizing resource recovery from waste and completely ending municipal waste landfilling since 2023. The strategy is built around three core loops: municipal waste is recycled into bio-organic fertilizer and energy through waste-to-power; sludge and wastewater are reused, with sludge converted into fertilizers and construction materials and treated water recycled; and ash and slag from incineration are processed into construction materials. This circular approach not only resolves waste challenges but also generates added value through fertilizers, electricity, and building materials.
BIWASE’s geographic expansion strategy is expected to be the key growth driver beyond 2025, with a strong focus on significantly increasing market share in highly urbanized and industrialized regions. From a long-term perspective, the Company aims to increase water supply capacity in Long An from 120,000 m³/day to 300,000 m³/day, while expanding its service coverage, and simultaneously raise capacity in Quang Binh to 30,000 m³/day.
In parallel with new investments, BIWASE is accelerating its M&A strategy through the acquisition of a 43% stake in Tan Hiep Water Company, which immediately adds 300,000 m³/day to its system and grants operational control, enabling entry into the Ho Chi Minh City market. Finally, the Company’s selection as the contractor for two major infrastructure projects serving the APEC High-Level Week 2027 in Phu Quoc stands as clear evidence of its expanding capabilities and growing national influence.
