Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company (BIWASE, ticker: BWE - HOSE) has officially increased its charter capital to VND 2,513.47 billion following a rights offering of more than 31.4 million shares to existing shareholders.



At the close of the offering on September 21, BIWASE fully sold over 31.4 million shares at VND 37,000 per share, mobilizing VND 1,162.5 billion. The Company plans to transfer shares to investors participating in the rights issue starting from October 2026, upon finalizing the additional listing and depository registration for the new shares.

BIWASE records three major shareholders following the share offering:

Post capital hike, BIWASE's charter capital expands from VND 2,199.3 billion to VND 2,513.47 billion. The Company now has three major shareholders: Becamex Industrial Development Investment Corporation (Ticker: BCM - HOSE) holding 17.01% of charter capital; Thu Dau Mot Water JSC (Ticker: TDM - HOSE) holding 37.42%; Biwase Electric Construction JSC holding 10.3%; The remaining 35.28% belongs to minor shareholders holding under 5% each.

Previously, BIWASE approved the plan for a rights issue to existing shareholders at a ratio of 14.2857% (7:1 ratio), equivalent to issuing 31,418,377 additional shares at a price of VND 37,000 per share.

Allocation of VND 1,162.5 billion proceeds: VND 773.3 billion to repay maturing debts owed to banks and credit institutions; VND 225 billion to invest in the Waste-to-Energy Plant project (Phase 1, 24MW capacity); VND 164.2 billion to finance the share acquisition in Ninh Thuan Water Supply JSC. The Company's priority order of capital usage: Acquiring Ninh Thuan Water Supply shares; Investing in the waste-to-energy project; Repaying maturing debt obligations.

At the close of the trading session on September 21, BWE shares traded around VND 40,850 per share.
