On October 11, 2024, the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province organized a gathering to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 – October 13, 2024) and to honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs of 2024

Provincial leaders awarded Certificates of Merit to 80 exemplary businesses and 66 outstanding entrepreneurs in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 – October 13, 2024)

Furthermore, these businesses have actively participated in social welfare activities, contributing to the construction of a progressively prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland in Binh Duong

During the gathering, Mai Hung Dung, Deputy Standing Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province, affirmed the vital role and significant contributions of the province's businesses and entrepreneurs in the socio-economic development under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and Government of Binh Duong. He stated: "In recent years, through the unwavering efforts of the Party Committee, the government, and the entire populace of the province, along with the essential contributions of the business community, Binh Duong has achieved commendable accomplishments across all sectors. The economy has experienced rapid and sustainable growth, the economic structure has modernized, and the province consistently leads the nation in attracting foreign investment. Additionally, the material and spiritual well-being of the people has steadily improved. Binh Duong also ranks among the top provinces nationwide in numerous esteemed indicators."

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province honored 80 exemplary businesses and 66 outstanding entrepreneurs for their excellent business operations and commendable compliance with laws pertaining to taxation, environment, fire prevention and firefighting, land use, and more. Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh Duong Water – Environment Corporation - Joint Stock Company; Mr. Tran Chien Cong, General Director of Binh Duong Water – Environment – Corporation - Joint Stock Company; and Binh Duong Water – Environment Corporation - Joint Stock Company (BIWASE) were bestowed with Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee in recognition of their achievements in business operations, contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Duong Province in 2024.
