On January 18th, 2016, Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd (BIWASE) held a Year- End 2015 and Laborers 2016 Conference. Mr. Tran Thanh Liem-Vice Chairman of Binh Duong PPC- attended and stated his instructions at the conference.

In 2015, BIWASE reached turnover that increasing 22% compared with 2014, obtaining 107% compared with its plan; net profit increases 28% compared with 2014, contributing 69.3 billion VND to State Budget, average income of laborers is at 10.4 million VND/person/month, increasing 12% compared with 2014. In addition, BIWASE’s laborers also receive a payment of 680,000VND/person/month for their lunches from the Company.

During the last time, BIWASE have focused on newly building 407 km of pipe lines, increasing total length of existing pipe lines at 2,857 km. That is the reason why BIWASE receive such good results inlast year. In 2015, there were 27,684 new customers connected into water supply system of BIWASE, increasing 122%, reaching at 146,024 of total customer. Consumed clean water output amount increases12.3%, water lost ratio at 7.3%, reducing 0.33% compared with 2014. Electric consumption is at 0.36kW/m3 in average. Waste and sewerage collection, transportation and treatment all increased in the last year. This enables BIWASE in expanding and implementing more new projectsin accordance with socialization policy.

To improve living conditions of laborers and production effectiveness as well as investment expansion, theLaborer Conference made much focus on solutions to increase turn revenue from production by saving energy, improving customer service quality and quantity; cooperate with universities and training centers to hold some specific courses, improve quality of vocational training and human resources, execute some innovation in management, water lost control and reduce production cost.

Recording contribution of laborers to BIWASE’s development, the President offered a Labor Medal, Class III, to Mr. Ngo Van Lui-Vice General Director – and the Prime Minister offered Award Certificates to Waste Treatment Enterprise and 6 excellent laborers of BIWASE.

Addressing at the Conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem-Vice Chairman of PPC- highly appreciated good results and rapid development of BIWASE during recent years. Being a province with high and stable growth, demands on clean water and environmental sanitation are very important. It requires the Company to make more studies and applications on new science-technology in treatment and it also requires the Company to save cost, reduce market price and improve production effectiveness.
