In the morning of 20/8, a comprehensive cooperation signing ceremony was held between Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) and Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company (Biwase). The ceremony was honor to receive Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dung, Deputy General Director of Vietinbank.

The cooperation between Vietinbank and Biwase formed and developed over 20 years. Vietinbank is currently providing Biwase with credit of over VND 600 billion. It is expected toward 2020, Biwase plans to invest about VND 4,000 billion, of which loan demand is about VND 3,000 billion. Biwase's main business is to supply clean water with a capacity of 450,000m3/day and Biwase is expanding its factory to Chon Thanh district (Binh Phuoc province) to serve the industrial area such as Becamex Binh Phuoc and its vicinity. Binh Duong waste treatment complex handles more than 2,500 tons of waste daily, ranks the top 5 provinces and cities for large scale treatment with good and modern treatment technology which is considered as one of the best of the whole country. Waste after treatment process is reclaimed and recycled into many useful products such as electricity, fertilizer and construction materials. In 2019, Biwase was selected by Vietnam Forbest Magazine as one of the 50 most effective listed companies in Vietnam.

Given a speech at the signing ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that the comprehensive cooperation between the two enterprises contributes to ensure social security and the common development of the province. In addition, it raises benefits to customers and contributes to the success in building e-Government and smart cities in Binh Duong.
