Construction of the South Binh Duong Solid waste treatment complex project-Phase 2 to be started
A contract on South Binh Duong solid waste treatment complex project –Phase 2- using Finnish ODA- was signed on Nov. 07th, 2014 between Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd ( the Employer) and Doranova ( the Contractor )-Finland.

After tendering process under international competitive bidding, 02 envelops form and only for Finnish contractors who were interested in this project, Doranova company (Finland) was selected for awarding. Scope under the contract-Phase 2- is to supply and installation of equipment, incinerators in order to complete the project-phase 1. Contract value of phase 2 is 6,155,656 Euro (including 10% of contingency cost). Contract implementing period is 420 days since the commencing date.

This is the second project funded by Finnish Government through Paribas NP Bank. Phase 1 of the project had the same value and it significantly contributed to improving the provincial sanitary conditions. In this project, waste in Binh Duong was collected and treated by green technology such as using treated waste to make compost.
In phase 2, gas from sanitary land fill will be collected to generate power. By using this technology, waste will be taken all its advantages to produce energy serving for manufacturing activities at the plant, at the same time, it also increases effectiveness of phase 1 in treating, recycling waste in a most absolute and safest way.
