(BDO) On Dec.16th, 2016, at Thanh Tam commune, Chon Thanh district, Binh Phuoc province, an inauguration ceremony of Chon Thanh Water Treatment Plant-Phase I- with capacity of 30,000m3/60,000m3 day and total investment cost at 330/420 billion VND- was held by Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company. Attendanting the ceremony were Former President Nguyen Minh Triet, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi-Secretary of Binh Phuoc’s provincial committee of the Party, Mr. Pham Van Canh- Permanent Vice Secretary of Binh Duong’s provincial committee of the Party and Vice Chairman ofprovincial people’s council ; Mr. Tran Thanh Liem-Vice Chairman of Binh Duong provincial people’s committee; Labor hero Cao Lai Quang-Chairman of Vietnam Water Supply Sewerage Association (VWSA) together with lots of former officers of Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc provinces and VWSA.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien-President of BIWASE offered 660 Mil.VND to representative of Vietnamese Fatherland Front in Binh Phuoc province- to build 11 houses for Stieng people living in Binh Phuoc province

Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee and People Committee offered Merit to BIWASE and the Contractor-Dai Phu Thinh Ltd., Company for their much effort in implementing the project

The project was carried out by socializing form, contributing to completing infrastructure, enhancing the province to attract investment, developing Becamex Binh Phuoc Urban-Service Industrial Complex and 5 adjacent industrial parks with over 4,000ha in total area served; length of main pipe about 100km, providing clean water for 100,000 local residents.

Addressing at the ceremony, Mr. Cao Lai Quang- Chairman of VWSA-highly appreciated the Empoyer’s role in developing, expanding water supply and sewerage services in complying with region linking, making good conditions for investment attraction, economic development, constructing a civilized and modern urban.

On behalf of the local authority, Mr. Huynh Van Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc provincial people’s committee, expressed his thanks for care from Binh Duong’s authority and praised for solidarity spirit between Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc provinces. Chon Thanh Water Treatment Plant will improve role and advantages of a province considered as a trafic gate of Becamex Binh Phuoc Urban-Service Industrial Complex and 5 adjacent industrial parks.

To acknowledge effort in overcoming dificulties to complete the project beyond its schedule, Binh Phuoc provincial Party’s committee anf people’s committee offered merits to the Employer- Binh Duong Water-Environment joint Stock Company and the Contractor- Dai Phu Thinh Ltd., Company.
