The project of drainage and wastewater treatment in Ben Cat town will be soon implemented
In the afternoon of March 25th, 2019, at Integrated Administrative Center of Binh Duong Province, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem- Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee received and worked with the Netherlands Enterprises Agency (RVO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands leaded by Ms. Kim Tran- Chief Advisor of Drainage and wastewater treatment in Ben Cat Town project.
At the meeting, two sides discussed about the progress of the project drainage and wastewater treatment in Di An, Thuan An and Tan Uyen and preparation for the project of drainage and wastewater treatment in Ben Cat town.

Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Liem thanked RVO for sponsoring Binh Duong to implement wastewater treatment projects in the past time. He said that at present, the demand for clean water in the province is very high, so the investment for construction of clean water treatment plant is particularly concerned by the province. With respect to that demand, the province has assigned Binh Duong Water Environment Joint Stock Company (Biwase) to build clean water supply and wastewater treatment plants. Thanks to the attention and sponsorship of RVO, the implementation of projects takes place smoothly. It is expected that drainage and waste water treatment projects in Thuan An, Di An and Tan Uyen will commission and operate at the end of 2019. In the coming time, the province will deploy a new project in Ben Cat town and look forward to receiving further attention from RVO to successfully implement this project.

In response to Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Kim Tran said the mission visited local households in Binh Duong who are living in the project site and found that the people were very pleased. She emphasized that improvement of the environment and satisfaction of the needs of the community, the projects also operated according to the circulating economy trend of the world through the recycle of waste products. Thereby, the Dutch Government wishes to select projects to be deployed in Binh Duong to introduce and promote the circulating economic model in the world. She thanked the positive cooperation of Binh Duong provincial authorities for successful projects. At the same time, it is expected that the Project on drainage and wastewater treatment in Ben Cat town will soon be deployed.
