BIWASE brings New Year Festival to border residents in Binh Phuoc province
(BDO) On February 04th, 2016 (Dec.26th, Lunar month), Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd (BIWASE) cooperated with Binh Duong provincial hospital, Business Youth Union and some sponsors such as: Thieu NienTien Phong Plastic, Dat Hoa Plastic and Binh Minh Plastic to carry out a program namely: Bringing New Year Festival to residents in Phuoc Thien, Hung Phuoc villages and two border posts Hoang Dieu and DakQuyt in Bu Dop district, BinhPhuoc province.
Medical officers of Binh Duong provincial hospital checked and gave medicine free of charge to poor people in Phuoc Thien and Hung Phuoc villages, Bu Dop district, BinhPhuoc province.
In Phuoc Thien and Hung Phuoc villages, residents were checked and given medicine free of charge and 230 Tet gifts comprising rice, sugar, cooking oil and cash of 100,000 VND were also given to poor families, mainly with Stieng ethnic group. The mission also visited and made New Year’s greetings to soldiers at Hoang Dieu and DakQuyt border posts in Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province.
In DakQuyt border post, the Mission, commanding officers and soldiers visited the Landmark 63, which is one of national landmarks managed by DakQuyt and it is adjacent to O Chum border post, Ratanakiri province, Cambodia, to make a ceremony for this Landmark and inaugurate a ceremony yard which is 80m2 in square funded by BIWASE.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of this landmark, Commander Nguyen Thien Ngan-Chief of DakQuyt border post- movingly expressed: This is a works made by Youth Unions of DakQuyt border post and BIWASE to represent for love of army and people in protecting sacred sovereignty of our country. This works is also important in educating on tradition and patriotism in new stage. The works also makes friendship between the 2 borders close and it was highly appreciated by the O Chum border post. The landmark 62 located at a full of obstacles and difficulties of accessmanaged by DakQuyt border post needs to be rebuilt to enhance for patrolling and protecting the borderin peace and friendship.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thien-BIWASE’s General Director-accepted to fund for new construction of a ceremony yard at this landmark and assigned BIWASE’s Youth Union to implement immediately after Lunar New Year 2016.
