A Team of Officers from DOWACO and Leaders of Cao Lanh city-Dong Thap province – had a visit at BIWASE
On October 16th, 2014, Dong Thap Water Supply and Urban Environment Co., Ltd (DOWACO) and leaders of Dong Thap’s local authorities visited BIWASE to study and exchange experience on waste water treatment plant management and operation.
BIWASE is the company which deployed the Construction of collecting system and domestic waste water treatment plant project in Binh Duong and the treatment plant was taken into use in 2012. After nearly 2 years from operating date, an amount of 5,000m3/day waste water transferred to the WWTP. Treated waste water is in compliance with Vietnamese standard QCVN 14/2008/BTNMT (class A).
Ther is a sewerage system being implemented in Cao Lanh city-Dong Thap province, of which DOWACO is the Project Empoyer and it will receive, manage and operate the works when it is completed and taken into use. Before visiting Thu Dau Mot WWTP and the collecting system, the Team also had a meeting at BIWASE’s office to share experience on implemeting methods, house hold connection, O&M of the collecting system, local’s management relating to granting permission and encouraging residents to be connected ect…
