On November 25, 2021 in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a ceremony to announce the Vietnam Innovation Yellow Book to honor the authors of scientific and technical works that are innovative, improve productivity, efficiency of labor quality, save energy, improve technology, make an important contribution to the process of industrialization - modernization.

Master Nguyen Van Thien - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company (BIWASE) with the project "Anti-Water Loss" has been named in the Vietnam Innovation Yellow Book.

Thanks to good management of water loss, clean water prices in Binh Duong have been competitive and stable for many years, contributing to improving the competitiveness of businesses and investors.

Reducing the rate of water loss in BIWASE is a long way associated with the process of formation and development of the Company. After efforts and determination to reduce water loss, the company has achieved the following expected results:

 Enhance the company's reputation among industry players not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia and some other countries. BIWASE was invited to participate in the Pairing program organized by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association in collaboration with the Water Associations of other countries such as:

• Pairing with Australian Water Supply Company WANNON and WESTERNPORT: cooperation program, mutual experience sharing between water supply companies;
• Pairing with Vientiane Capital Water Supply Company (Laos): a support program to help their company reduce water loss;
• Pairing with Columbo Water Authority (Srilanka): BIWASE joins as a trainer, sending experts to support their company.
•  For the Domestic Pairing program, BIWASE also sent staff to assist water supply companies in the provinces: Dong Nai, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Hai Duong in reducing water loss.

The loss rate holds the top position in the country, comparable to developed countries such as Singapore, Japan, etc.

Reduced cost according to government regulations to be used for capital construction investment;

If the current maximum loss regulation of the Government is 18%, at BIWASE the loss rate is only 5.25%. The amount obtained by reducing the loss rate is of great value.

During more than 10 years of constantly implementing solutions to reduce water loss, every successful path has its price. If BIWASE's Board of Directors and staff had not previously been determined to reduce water loss, there would not have been a BIWASE known by many units in the industry for its proud achievements in reducing water loss as it is today.
