BIWASE looking back the last year

On Jan.09.2014, Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd (BIWASE) organized a Conference of Labourers Year 2014 and Year-End 2013 Summation. Attending the conference comprised Binh Duong provincial leader, Becamex IDC leader, provincial departments and local authorities together with more than 200 delegates including Party members, typical labourers representing for more than 900 staffs of the Company.,

During the last year, Management Board, officials and staffs of BIWASE still kept their will and determination, setting target to keep a stable growth rate in all kinds of business despite of consideration that social-economic situation in 2013 still had many difficulties.

On water supply, to ensuring on providing clean water to meet demand of daily activities and production in the province, during the last year, the Company did not stop increasing water provision capacity, reducing non-revenue water to save money for investment to expand pipeline networks in centralizing residential areas and new urbans. To late 2013, total water production increased 29% compared with 2012, connection increased more than 16,500 customers, get 138% of plan for 2013.

On environment, the Company have mobilized all human resource to complete construction of a composting plant with capacity of 420 ton/day-phase I- funded by Finland Government. The plant has been officially taken into operation on September 20th, 2013. Thanks to diligence and creativeness of staffs working at the complex, many kinds of minicipal waste, industrial waste, hazardous industrial waste were treated, recycled in compliance with a scientific and safe way, compost quality is in compliance with standards of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

On waste water collection and treatment, after many years of preparation, supported by the Government, Ministries, local authorities and funded by Japanese International Cooperatio Agency (JICA), Southern Binh Duong water environment improvement project had a groundbreaking ceremony on March 31st, 2013 and waste water treatment plant was officialy inauguarated and taken into operation on May 31st 2013, after 2 years of construction and a commission period, capacity of phase one is 17,600m3/day, with advanced treating technology ASBR (Advanced Sequencing Batch Reactor), treated waste water is in A class. As a result of this, waste water in Binh Duong has now evoluted wit a separated waste water collection system. As a domestic wase water collection system is completely connected, rain water and domestic waste water will be seperated in collecting, minimizing land environmental pollution as well as water environment, canals will not receive dirty and untreated waste water, giving back clean and green environment to canals in urban of Thu Dau Mot city.

After one year of industrious working, all staff of BIWASE are very excited with total income in 2013 getting growth rate of 42% compared with 2102 , per capital income increases 16%, living conditions of staff are significantly improved.

Besides main functions in water supply, sewerage and environment, during recent years, the Company have ensured some public activities such as assuring on watering agriculture and safe of river walls and dams for agricultural works which are under the Company’s management. In addition, the Company is one of units actively contributing on social security programs with total amount contributed nearly 1 billion dong in the last year.

Significant results achieved today is thanks to harmoniuos cooperation, understanding and determination to meet target planned from the Company’s Management Board to all subsidiary units and enterprises.

With what achieved in 2013, all officials and staffs of BIWASE have more confidence to start the new year 2014 with higher will and determination to build a business which will be more and more developed, consolidating belief and proud of each staff who is serving, working in a dynamic and united business and for BIWASE trade mark.
