In the morning of February 24^th, 2014, a deligation of Shizuoka city People’s Council –Japan -had a sucessful working visit at BIWASE’s office.

The deligation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Van Thien-General Director- and members of management board. The two parties had an open dialogue on a cooperation relation established by the 2 parties since 2012.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien also expressed hid sincere thanks to Nihon Suido Consultant-Japan, who gave idea on establishing relation between Shizuoka city and BIWASE and he concurrently highly appreciated supports for water supply and sewerage from officers of water supply and sewerage sectors in Shizuoka city, who made 2 training cources for BIWASE’s staff in last Jan. and June.2013. Knowledge received from the training cources is so useful for BIWASE’s staff and it has been being applied in their performance, contributing to develop BIWASE in particularly and Binh Duong province in generally.

Leaving the meeting, the deligation made a site visit to Thu Dau Mot Waste Water Treatment Plant in Ba Lua port. This is the first municipal waste water treatment plant in Binh Duong province funded by Japanese Government. The team highly appreciated organization, management and operation of Thu Dau Mot waste water treatment plant in trend of civilization, modernnization and environmental protection. It is surely believed that the project will contribute in peeding up sustainable development of the province.

Saying goodbye to the deligation, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien hopes to have a chance welcoming this team in near future and he also wished for a closer relation from the two parties.
