In the morning of February 28^th, 2019, at the head office of Binh Duong Water Environment Joint Stock Company, the Executive Board of the Southern Water Supply Association meets to assign the tasks of the Executive Board and sets out the direction of 2019 for the Association.

All members of the Executive Board from water supply utilities, material suppliers and consultant firms attended and had lively, practical and useful comments during the meeting. At the meeting, members agreed with the assignment of the Association to establish three sub-committees, including the Vice-Chairman of the Association. 1.) Subcommittee in charge of training: Mr. Nguyen Huu Loc - Chairman of Can Tho Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company - and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai -P. General Manager of Sales - Binh Minh Plastic Joint Stock Company, 2.) The subcommittee in charge of application of science and technology, new materials and equipment: Mr. Dinh Chi Duc - Chairman of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Water Supply Joint Stock Company - and Mr. Vo Van Binh - Director of Trading Co., Ltd. - Technical D & B, 3.) Subcommittee in charge of movement and other activities: Mr. Trinh Thanh Nghiem-Chairman of Tay Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company- and Mr. Dang Van Ngo - Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Water Supply Company Soc Trang-in charge. The subcommittees will make specific plans to perform the assigned tasks, select personnel to support the assigned tasks, organize the implementation and quarterly report the results to the Executive Board.

Regarding the direction of operation for 2019, the Executive Committee of the Association also agreed to actively implement the orientation and tasks of the Association at the XVII Congress such as: full participation in activities and events of Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, improvement of customer service quality; consolidation, innovation, improvement of the quality of the Association activities, organization of seminars and conferences on science and technology to introduce new products and technologies of the water industry in the era of technology 4.0; promotion of knowledge exchanges, study tours, experience sharing.

The 2^nd meeting of the Executive Committee - term of 2018-2020, integration with products and new technology  introduction is expected to take place in late May/ early June 2019 in Ben Tre province.
